This old wooden canoe was found in the Apalachicola river May 7th 2006. Archaeologists are dating it around 1750 and 1850. They say/think it was made by Indians and used by Europeans. But who really knows. It is a great find and will be displayed at the Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve in Eastpoint.
